Building Utopia
Building Utopia presents a vision of how our societies should operate. Some would ask why? Let's discuss.
Humanity has made plenty of progress, yet many problems persist. Have you ever wondered why? Most of these issues stem from a scarcity of money for the masses. This scarcity is caused by the unfairness in our monetary systems. Most of our problems are rooted in this unfairness. The primary symptom of this unfairness is the increasing wealth inequality. We do not have any systems that can eliminate this unfairness, and our current social welfare systems are so inadequate that they cannot cover it up.
To truly solve these challenges, instead of addressing individual issues in isolation, we must rethink how everything should function. We need a holistic approach which visualizes a much different society where these problems simply cannot exist. Such an ideal society has monetary systems that prevent monetary unfairness from arising. Its social welfare systems ensure that monetary adversities and misfortune do not compromise an individuals quest for a good life. An ideal society ensures the well-being of its citizens so that its citizens can have good life.
Such an society is called Utopia. It is a society where fairness and well-being are foundational, independence and self-sufficiency are coveted, and its monetary and social welfare systems make it a good place for everyone.
Building Utopia details the necessary systems for such a Utopian society. We definitely need to build these systems. Explore these ideas and proposals, analyze them, and see if you agree. If a majority of us agree, we can build it. That's the point of a democracy; isn't it?
