Life, Fun and Work
Time flies when we are having fun. Time moves more slowly when we're not having fun.
Life is long if it is miserable. However, life is too short when we are enjoying it.
What to do when you are not having fun? How to rectify the situation? Sherlock Holmes has an opinion "Work is the best antidote to sorrow, Mrs. Hudson".
Work is the best antidote to sorrow, suffering, pain, boredom, depression, loneliness, etc.
Work gives you satisfaction of accomplishing something.
Work gives you joy of creating or maintaining or enhancing something.
Work fills your time fruitfully.
Without work, all that time would be spent in activities that will leave you with nothing worthwhile to show at the end of that time.
We are going to die one day. Till then, what do we want to do? Till then, what do we want to accomplish? Whose lives we want to touch? What relationships we want to build? Whom do we want to help? From whom do we want to take help?
Life is long and miserable if you don't know how to live it.
Life may seem short if you know how to lead a good life.
